How to change Candidate stages (and what they mean)

In this article you will learn how to adjust a candidates stage, and what the stages mean.

Log in to your Humaniz.io account using your registered email address.


To access, Select Candidates from the options on the left side.

When you open up a Candidate, there will be a drop down menu you can select in the top right portion of the screen.

It is important to keep your candidates in the appropriate stage so that you never have to wonder where a certain candidate is in the recruiting process.


There are 10 stages to select when labeling a candidate. 

Move to Applied is the first stage, used before the phone screen for licensed candidates.

Move to Phone Screen is used to label candidates who have scheduled a phone screen.

Move To Interview is for candidates who have scheduled an in office/in person interview.

Move to Onboarding is for candidates who are ready to begin onboarding to your team.

Move to Hired is for candidates which you have hired to your team.

Move to Disqualified is for candidates who you have disqualified from future employment with your team. 

Move to Nurture is used for candidates who might not be joining your team in the immediate future, but you would like to stay in contact with for a future possibility of reviving the candidate.

Move to Unlicensed is for candidates who are unlicensed and have NOT started coursework to become licensed.

Move to Unlicensed with Coursework Started is for candidates who are not licensed, but are in process of completing coursework to become licensed Real Estate Agents.

Move to Declined is for candidates who have declined your offer to join your team.
